The Epson 9880 is Epson's remake of the ever so popular Epson 9800 series printer, although this time offerring increased color gamut and black density in fine art reproductiona and photography, significantly faster printing velocity, a brand new vivid magenta ink cartridge, and the capability of switching between matte black and photo black ink cartridges without having to dump tons of ink and in general waste consumables - a high criticism of the Epson 9880 wide format printer predecessors.
